Is this a trap game for UGA the week after the Clemson opener?

I know nothing of their program but I know many you Alabama folks here follow them to some extent.

Me and you both know that UGA won’t lose until it matters at the end of the season.

Under Richt. If Richt was still head coach, I would already have money against us in that game. Kirby is still climbing the mountain but any objective observer would say he has definitely changed the culture here.

No. Their coach has highly undisciplined teams. He will make Kirby look like an offensive genius.

We played them a few years ago and I was worried about it because people on this board praise their coach like crazy but somehow Pruitt beat the hell out of them. I think you'll be alright.

They're a good lower mid-major team and have won their conference 2 out of 3 years and gone to the championship in all three 3.

As long as you don't come out completely flat you'll handle them easily though. Even middling Florida, UT and aTm had little issue putting them away simply by virtue of out athleting them.

Wtf are you talking about? Their coach is legit and lots of AU fans wish they would have got him. Their talent is nowhere close to SEC level. But their scheme is very good.

Some AU fans are pretty salty about some of the rumors that were bounced around during the coaching search lol.

He's a good coach.

I wouldn't go that far, but I would think you should handle them pretty easily. Huge gap in talent.

But after laying it all out on the line vs Clemson, leaving it all out on the field, possibly being #1 in polls for a week, maybe practice like shite, maybe play like shite feeling high and mighty, while UAB come out fighting like the animals they are...

Gus isn't your coach.

Gus definitely isn't your coach because he never had a bad practice at Auburn.

On defense Clark traditionally likes a Bear front with lots of different blitzes.

On offense, last I saw they had gone to a spread offense like most other college teams.

But Clark is a defensive coach. If they give you trouble, it will be on defense not offense.

They could probably put a scare into a bad SEC team. They may put up a fight for a quarter or two but in the end it will be a cakewalk for UGA
