Give Drinkwitz a $7M/year lifetime contract. It’s worth the risk.

As I recall it will be a southeast diagonal off the new south endzone complex, with an upper level walkway link.

We can't pump the brakes. We have to go in because someone bigger could give him a contract if he shows he's good. We have to give him the Martin contract stat!

He shows he's good, we or someone else will pony up. That our donors REALLY seem to like him is highly encouraging should his stock keep trending up.

We can't stop his next move. Because the next move is to the NFL just like Rhule. The current trend is to grab young offensive minded guys.

Do not see NFL as an option. Way too rah rah for that. Prototypical college coach. FWIW if Meyers craters, that will kill that path for a LONG time.

I love that location, it brings together the stadium and an empty void. I thought they might keep it on current outdoor practice area which is by the training complex off Stadium.

Yeah, if anything, I could see him going to a bigger program ie - USC, Texas, etc.. if he does something crazy like go 11 wins in his second season.

You're right... we better give him the Jimbo Fisher contract!

It's not Meyer that's the issue. It's Kingsbury and Rhule. Especially Rhule. If Drink improves Mizzou like Rhule did at Baylor, then in 2 years the Raiders, Miami and maybe Texans come calling. That is if Rhule is successful.

Do you realize there have never been a better recruiter and is an offensive minded HC? That is all the tangibles for success. Those are now the popular choices for a HC nowadays. Then if someone is offering to hire him away and you would let that slide and start over to find another Drinkwitz clone? I doubt Missouri will succeed the second time around until Mizzou is a top 20 football team and the team is loaded with top talents and have depth. That is why Drinkwitz need time to get all that done in order to get the team to compete against top teams. I say 2 more years when he gets all of his recruits and transfers are on the field. This is what Kentucky and Texas A&M are at right now. Last year Kentucky wasn't good but can bounce back with new OC. If Drinkwitz keeps winning and gets an average top 15 recruiting class then the AD better pay up. Not right now. Still got to build up the roster first and get his players on the field and he shall get them to compete against top teams. This is when you pay him or when he is getting lots of buzz from other schools to hire him away from Mizzou. He is still in early in his second year. Kentucky got lucky to keep their HC when schools were trying to hire him.
