LSU Basketball SEC Standings:
20/21= 3RD
19/20 = 3RD
18/19 = 1ST
17/18 = 1ST
16/17 = 9th (First year under tPear)
Arkansas:
20/21 = 2nd and a loss to LSU in the semis FYI
19/20 = 10th
18/19 = 9th
17/18 = T4th
I will take that and bet on the future compared to what we use to have.

It really blows my mind how nonsensical this board is towards Pear.
Pear inherited LSU’s worst sec record in 60 years and has been a winner from day one. He’d have had a bigger season last year had he not been implicated in a once in a lifetime FBI investigation
Pear also doesn’t have remotely close to the same facilities as his peers, which will be changing soon. But yeah keep thinking Will Wade is a shite coach

Muss finished 2nd in his 2nd year at Arkansas.
Making an elite 8 in year two with ALL new players.
There isn’t a program in the country besides LSU that would take The strong offer over Muss.
All those strong offers and Wade still hasn’t made a sweet 16 lmao

Wade’s team won the SEC, went 28-7, and made the sweet 16 in his second year after inheriting a situation 10x worse than Musselman. LSU was a gigantic fricking mess when he got here.
Muss is great, but LSU fans are perfectly fine with tPear. That might just blow your mind but LSU is just fine

Hard to say the situation was worse.
Muss had 7 players in year one and 2 of those were transfers he brought in. One of those 7 missed 6 SEC games (best player)
Again has Wade coached a sweet 16 game? He was making strong offers from day 1. Easy to get players when you do that. It’s another thing when you actually have to coach
He isn’t predicted to make the NCAA tourney next year and Arkansas is preseason top 10. Have fun in the NIt.

I think it speaks more volumes he put together a team that made the sweet 16 with tony Benford on the sidelines
