Why has LSU hiring a Hall of Fame basketball coach triggered the Aggies among us so bad?

Is it because they've lost 80% of their games when facing her?

I'm very surprised at the level of Aggy outrage. I didn't realize she got that far under their skin.

Nobody gives a shite about women’s basketball. Right up there with gymnastics.

It isn’t outrage.
We’ve simply faced her far more than have any other SEC programs.
We have a history with her that other SEC programs don’t have, so she’s shown her colors often.
Our WBB coach is probably one of three coaches we have in Aggieland whom we’d protect at all costs.
Despite his longtime mentorship of her, Mulkey was her usual nasty self to Gary Blair—throwing an embarrassing, trashy tantrum (similar to that of Baylor’s entire university) when A&M departed the B12.
I’ve certainly said my peace.
Hopefully she’s developed some humility and will do LSU proud.

Apparently, that was before the impending breakup.
When A&M and Blair make their exit from the Big 12 to the SEC, Mulkey said she'll be cutting off the Aggies from future scheduling, no matter how great their rivalry has become, both in the league and nationally.
“My feeling is this,” Mulkey told reporters Wednesday during Big 12 Media Days in Kansas City, “if a man wants to divorce me and says our relationship has no value to him, and then he asks me if he can sleep with me, the answer is, ‘No!'”
I’ve certainly said my peace.
