LSU's quarterbacks averaged around 312 yards passing per game.
5 games under 300yds
2 games over 400 that padded those stats
Not a single receiver over 800yds
The Burrow was the best QB LSU has probably ever had.
Last year you had Brennan and two freshmen.
Brennan was not good.

Put up some pretty good numbers to be "not good."

Brennan average 370 yds/game and 3.7 TD/game.
I'm not saying he is or isn't a good QB but he was able to move the ball and score. The receivers would have been just fine with him all season.

LSU had 5 games with over 300 yards passing. The 5 games under 300 yards was an average of 252. But yes, the higher passing games numbers help. That how averages work.

Well, when your leading receiver who had just shy of 800 yards quits after game 7, that kind of skews the "no receiver with over 800" yards thing. Once Marshall left the team, Boutte had 500+ the last three games.

no shite?

Brennan had over 1100 yards passing in 3 games
