I know a lot has been said lately about the current state of college basketball re: entirely new rosters every year for pretty much every program, but I actually feel really good about us competing in that environment. I hate that that environment exists in the first place, but I think the fact that we have such a well defined playing style will make us less susceptible to disaster seasons where the roster just doesn't work and everything is a wash.

The fact that Oats has a clear vision in what he wants and who fits into that system, makes a huge difference. They'll be guys that are busts. But have a plan and researching how guys would fit is just less susceptible land coaches who were just assembling as much talent as possible, and hope to find a way to make it work.
