The Nelsons have a 9 hour flight from Fayetteville to Devils Lake if they're going home tonight. Probably won't hear anything tonight unless he commits to us before they leave.
Also Devil's lake is a cool arse name for a city, supposed to be some really good fishing and hunting up that way.

Along with the previously reported visits to Kansas State and Kentucky, Creighton transfer Arthur Kaluma — arguably the best available player in the portal — has also scheduled a visit to Alabama for next week, sources told ESPN.

If we get Kaluma, Nelson, and Estrada that would make me feel a whole lot better about our boosters willing to spend in basketball. We still won’t have as much $$ as Arkansas but still enough to compete and land 3 big boy transfers

I bet if you were one of these guys like Kaluma and Nelson who were borderline draft selections and wanted to transfer one year and boost their draft stock, and they asked some of these NBA scouts which college team would be best to transfer to, more than a few would say Alabama.

Exactly! I think a lot of them see that we run a NBA style offense/defense.

Also an insider on BOL is saying our pitch to him was to play the 4. I'd assume that means Pringle would be our starter at the 5 while Nelson plays spot minutes there. Also would mean that if we were to still go after Kaluma, the pitch would be for the 3 spot.

Winning a big time transfer over Arkansas at an absolutely crucial position would be huge for this team.
