He has some stuff going on personally. Sure he will end up somewhere decent.

Apparently he is moving to Florida.

Georgia may be a player here. He is a GA native and allegedly wanted to commit there, but the coaches wanted him to camp first. I'd expect that a visit to verify measurables and work out would be needed.

He got into some big time trouble, enough to be kicked out of Newman and Mannings cut the cord. Not sure he ends up at any decent school, needs to get a lot of things together.

I never thought of him as a cant miss guy. 247 has him rated about right as a mid-high 3-star at 87 rating. He has size and some potential but left a bit to be desired with a supposed cant miss 5-star QB throwing him the ball. His stats were good not great and he got completely shut down (0 catches) in Newman's final playoff game. I dont even know how that happens if you're s 4-star receiver with a 5-star QB throweing you the ball.

Here's the video of Johnson getting 0 catches in 15 targets in playoff game

Was against Jordan Allen, a 3-star DB who wanted LSU/Bama offers as those were his favorites but didnt get it and committed to PSU. Kind of savagely after that game Allen got interviewed and he said the best receivers he faced in high school were Sage Ryan and Malik Nabers, no mention of Johnson.
