Don’t be bringing logic and facts in here. You can’t recruit your first year as a coach everyone knows that.

Again, you have to look at all factors present in a new HC.
Gus had already built HS and recruit connections while he was our OC for 3 years, and he was only gone 1 year before he became HC.
So he had a local rep, and connections, which definitely hsould have helped with his 1st recruiting class.
As someone said, it's not just about comparing 1 year to another HC's 1 year. It can work both ways.
