Bear looks very comfortable wearing #99. He will fit right in for 2022. Jordan Davis is 6'6, Bear is listed at 6'3. Somebody's numbers are off just a tad bit.

Always possible. I admit we are a little nervous, but right now he is saying the right things. Problem is it is easy to say you are going away from home when it is something in the future...as time draws closer and it becomes more of a reality it can get tougher.

Hopefully we can hang on to him. I think he can be special. Our DLine class is very good right now and if we pull one or two more that we are heavily involved with we will have an historic DLine class...for us, anyway.

2 weeks ago there was legitimate cause for concern on the Georgia side. Getting Bear to campus for a few days to interact with everyone in person was crucial and now that we’ve done that, we should be in great position for the next few months. We will get him back over for an OV in November before ESD to make sure we can seal the deal

It's died down since then but it was a hot take for a moment. Bear is an interesting prospect. He has some stuff going on behind the scenes moving schools like he has.

His guardian is a football coach and bounces jobs for that reason, while his dad lives in north Georgia. He has made a strong connection with Tray Scott and others at UGA. But Texas is home now so what’s most comfortable?

What does that mean? Both are no good?

No it wasn't. Random arse people throwing stuff around on one of our boards isn't having any expectations

Just guessing....I think that speculation came from the staff member that left Georgia and went to A&M. That apparently wasn't as big of a deal as some made it out to be.

It's not real unusual here in Georgia...and I suspect the same holds true for Texas. Kids change schools to follow a coach...they don't get along with their current coach...don't like their school...want to go to a school for a shot at a state championship.

Football in high school is changing big time, and not for the better.

They can’t follow a coach anymore. Changed a few years ago. Also if you coach a kid at a camp or all star game they are ineligible for a year.

Our main beat writer expects him to be the ring leader for this class, which doesn’t sound much like a flip candidate.
