Of course it does if these high scores are within the conference and they're still playing good defense against high powered offenses from outside the conference.Like LSU last year vs OU and Clemson or like Bama this year vs Clemson.

Let's not act like we haven't seen Bama's defense get shredded in the post season, or Clemson's, or Ohio States. Bama didn't play Clemson this year. All the normal playoff participants have had their defenses shredded on national television, win or lose.

The offenses in your league have been modernized and improved, especially in the West. They are the offenses we ran for over a decade in the BIG XII. Your defensive reputation is going to take a big hit. There's no way around that.
