Statistical ranking at the end of the season, yes. Watching how they play in games. Final scores. You're having more basketball scores, like we did.

I don't know that answer to that or what difference it makes. Defenses were pretty strong in the league last year, and it showed in the bowls, so probably not the best question to ask.

Of course it does if these high scores are within the conference and they're still playing good defense against high powered offenses from outside the conference.Like LSU last year vs OU and Clemson or like Bama this year vs Clemson.
