He’s not a huge splash hire, but people are acting like he’s Dooley from La Tech.
I don’t think we’ll be winning any championships anytime soon, but he’ll get us out of embarrassment territory.

The issue is 12-1 -> 10-3 -> 6-4. If it were reversed you may be on to something.

You also can’t seriously tell me he’s going to recruit at Butch or Pruitt levels. We will have the talent level of Kentucky, South Carolina and Mississippi State. I expect Lane Kiffin to raid Tennessee over the next few season.

The vols should be ecstatic with the hire. He is really the best they could hope for.

Well given that Pruitt has fricked us on the recruiting front, I'm not sure that matters.

He’s a no personality a-hole who nobody likes. He’s progressively made UCF worse after getting the keys to a Lamborghini. His offense leaves his defense out to dry constantly. East west running game.
This is a TERRIBLE disaster of a hire. Laughable actually.

If he indeed hates recruiting, UT would have been better off keeping Steele for this season as interim, hoping to get a quality coach for 22.

An AAC roster against a C-USA roster is like a SEC team playing against a Sun Belt team. Unless those teams are Tennessee and Georgia State.
