That UT is nearing a deal with Coach Matt Luke to be the next Volunteer head coach.
Administration in Knoxville believe that much like Ed Orgeron, they believe Matt Luke learned a lot from his failed tenure at Ole Miss, and would come in and hire a big time staff and be no more than a pubic hair away from a national title within 2-3 years.
Still some moving parts in the contract talks, but worth keeping an eye on.
More as I learn..

Yes, I’m sure this highly regarded AD we hired is in a hurry to rush Matt Luke through the door on his first day.

Haha Ole Miss fans are salty knowing that if Tennessee calls Lane, he is leaving.

Dullards like OP should leave the comedic attempts to us VOLS users and board elites

Might explain why I just saw Freeze looking at a burner in Oxford Walmart

And would leave Tennessee next year.

Sounds like Tennessee is moving in a better direction than Auburn

If the hire isn't Lane will your fans throw a temper tantrum again like they did when it wasn't Gruden last time?

Imagine your fudge packing arse showing up bringing up Auburn in a thread. You're obsessed and it's starting to worry people. Nobody ever agrees with you either, notice that?

Tenn with former Ole Miss coach would win a title
Ole Miss with Nick Saban would struggle to win a title

They are throwing themselves at him, asking him to come home. Is he from Tennesee or did he play there?

Neither. It’s a weird thing. I think FAU would be more home than Knoxville.

You make shitty threads.

Luke is their number 3 pick

They are already paying butch, just have him come in and do something.

So honest question. Would an SEC coach leave secure job, where he just signed an extension, got a commitment to build up the facilities and has darn good talent all to go to an institution that committed God knows what but it was bad enough to fire a HC and 9 assistants.....and the NCAA hasn’t even ruled yet!
Would that be a logical thing to do?
