Brennan did have Marshall and Gilbert at the time though, and against Vandy, Mizzou, and Miss St. Max led the offense well against a solid Florida defense

Florida and Ole Miss are 96th and 98th respectively in team passing efficiency defense.

That defense was nowhere near solid. Florida's defense was absolute trash.
