He’ll be at Kentucky when Cal is done recruiting and not coaching. Until then, enjoy watching the product he puts on the floor.

Well, the "Nate Oats will leave Bama for..." threads came a lot sooner than I expected. Just a few short months ago, I was having to explain to LSU fans that he has more NCAA Tournament wins than Will Wade and was having to defend the "Fresh out of Romulus high school" coach.

Cal has a lifetime contract and 60 million dollar buyout. He’s not going anywhere

Cool. That'll be a while. Enjoy the inevitable beat downs.

I feel so validated by this post despite not having anything to do with success at Alabama athletic department. LSU posters can't even let us have a fleeting moment in basketball.

We can live with that. You know you guys are barking up the wrong tree with your ref conspiracy theories. We trade our best basketball players and coaches for Kentucky's football players and coaches. It is a super secret trade deal we have going.

Nathanael Oates is a pretty, pretty good coach. I never knew his name before Bama hired him, but I knew those Buffalo teams were very good.
