No hyperbole, I’ve never seen anyone with as sure hands as him. There were a lot of times I thought he would be stripped

Yes, one of 4 5* recruits that year at RB:
#1 Najee Harris
#2 Cam Akers
#3 Stephen Carr
#4 D'Andre Swift

Looking back at that class, it amazes me that Stanford didn't accomplish more. They had the #1 Pro QB, #1 TE, #2 and #3 OT.

Nothing against Damien Harris, he is a good RB and all. But he should have never gotten reps when Najee and Josh Jacobs were both on the roster.

That "fumble" by Harris and the Toney's non-fumble in the SECCG struck me as the officials just deciding to keep things interesting. I have no damn clue how the review of Toney's fumble at the goal line was not correctly identified. The ball was falling but he had like 2 finger pads barely touching the ball while not being down. Hell, there was one time where they called Alabama's OT for not being on the line of scrimmage which backed them up and led to a 3 and out then Auburn got the ball and their OT was misaligned like that for their entire proceeding procession.

The officials legit felt bad for teams playing Alabama this year I think...

He was indeed though he was like fourth on the depth chart in his freshman year, third on the depth chart in his sophomore year, and didn't start making an impact until last year.

I was never really high on Dame but he did very well before injury on the Pats this year. I've never seen a guy get ran down from behind more than Damien Harris. He got ran down by a Citadel DB once. He's got endurance and durability issues which are not ideal for tailbacks. Still, he's a decisive one cut zone runner so he very reliable at maximize yards per carry. He doesn't really move piles nor make many yards after significant contact.

He’s by far the player I’m most excited to never play again.

Damien Harris was a beast for Bama and was a beast for the Pats when they let him play. He just doesn’t WOW anyone with elite moves, speed, or strength so he doesn't get attention. Saban has the best guys starting usually more often than not. I look for Trey Sanders to break out this upcoming season.
