So maybe having the best receiving core in possibly CFB history and an elite RB and OLine makes an average QB look elite?

It didn't hurt. Nor did it hurt Mac Jones. Or Burrow.

Or any other QB for that matter.

I think we'll look back on the numbers Burrow, Mac, and Tua put up and see it more of a marker, the time when CFB was going through massive change. They executed, but I have a hard time believing we've seen the 3 best QBs to every play the game over the past 3 years on 2 teams.
An excellent and thoughtful post!
Time will tell.

I still think Troy Aikman was an average QB. He had the best OL in league history (at that time) averaging about 300 lbs heavier than the DL's they faced.

And he was throwing to Novacek, Harper, and Irvin

OL makes all the difference.

Dolphins OL was playing really well with Tua back there, having gelled through the season. They should look great next year.

I still think Tua, if he sits a year, will light it up
