2 of my favorite Bama players of all time are Javier Arenas and Mac and I've been pulling for Bama almost 50 years now.
I know there are other 3 star recruits who have stepped up for us in a big way, who am I missing? Marcel Dareus (sp?)? Chance Warmack? Was Mark Ingram a 3 or 4 star?

Donta Hightower wasnt a highly ranked prospect. Borderline three star player i believe.

Mac was a 4 star by rivals and espn. 247 for what ever reason had him ranked as an 87 overall 3 star. Had they done the work he would have been a 4 star easily.
