Mizzou brings absolutely nothing to the SEC. They belong in the BIG 10 or Big 12 anyway.

Texas and Missouri (by themselves) added 50% to the state population total of the SEC.
This is a huge factor in the revenue every school gets, per the contract for the SEC network.
If that money means anything to you (and, as an LSU fan, I assume it means a lot), the you should be happy both are in the fold.

Ah yes, one of those ‘SEC is football based’ types. Let me guess, you’re a football only fan too? I’m sure academics and Tv markets don’t matter either.
