Let's look at the Clemson run.Dont ya think they might have had a more difficult time in the playoffs had they played another round in '16 or '18? They played in a horrible conference and coasted in the conference championship game and play one tough game to get to the NC while big 10 and SEC teams beat each other up in the reg season.

And the examples you gave would have still happened. So if you expand to 8 then you would still have the same thing happen. Are you also arguing why an 8 team playoff would not be fine?
