Why? If after 13 games yore only ranked 8th you don't deserve a title shot plain and simple. Let's also not pretend that the exact same 4-5 teams that make the playoffs now wouldn't just be there with 8 teams. Why do we need to see bama against cincinnati? What does that accomplish?
The committee has gotten the correct 4 teams every time, every year. The playoffs are fine. What really needs to happen is for the big 10, acc, and pac 12 to get their heads out of their asses and get serious about having a team besides Clemson and ohio state make noise. Nobody in the world is complaining about the playoffs if there was more parity, that's not the fault of the committee or the playoffs

So you're saying if Ga bama has a close game, Clemson wins the acc, Ohio state and Notre dame does well. You dont see a problem with having only 4 teams? It needs to be 6 or 8. 4 is not enough most years.

Why take the worst case scenerio? BTW if we ended up 8th,you wouldn't want see us play Bama again? C'mon,we're a different team now.
There are some other great matchups out there:UF vs Clemson? OU vs OSU? A&M vs ND?

Sorry,its changing to eight whether you like it or not.Non playoffs NY6 bowls aren't gonna stand for being this insignificant and ESPN isn't gonna fork out $500 million+ for garbage NY6 bowls.
