If this were the case, you wouldn't have made this stupid post. There is a big difference in playing in some meaningless bowl game in Shreveport as opposed to playing/practicing in front of NFL scouts for a week at the Senior Bowl. The purpose of college is to prepare you for a career, if you are gifted enough to have a shot at playing at the next level, you would be stupid not to do everything in your power to take it.

Maybe players would rather play the Senior Bowl as likely the final game in their playing careers instead of a meaningless game in the name of $ponsors and rigged systems.

It's no doubt more personal to them, and if that's the case I don't blame them one bit.

Are you somehow under the impression that scouts do not attend or watch the regular bowl games?
The players invited to the Senior Bowl are pretty well known for what they bring to the table.

How meaningful do you think the Senior Bowl is?

Absolutely. Are you under the impression that playing in a bowl game somehow eliminates you from consideration for the NFL?
