1. Chemistry
Last year’s team had talent and pretty good chemistry. The experience was basically nonexistent. I’m looking to see how this years team, who has pretty good talent and experience, plays together as a team.
2. Is PJ Horne as advertised?
Horne transferred from VA Tech after starting every game except two last year. I’ve heard he is our best player. We will see.
3. Is Toumani Camara more consistent around the hoop?
Last year as a freshman Toumani did everything well EXCEPT make shots.
4. KD Johnson
The #89 ranked player and a 4-star in the 2020 class, Point guard KD Johnson will replace Anthony Edwards as the freshman with the highest expectations this season. They definitely aren’t nearly as high as Edwards, but eyes are on Johnson nonetheless.
5. Has Sahvir Wheeler’s shot improved?
Wheeler impressed at the start of the year last year and worked his way into a starting role. He impressed in both driving to the hoop and passing, finish top 5 in the SEC in assists. Will his shot, specifically his 3 point shot, be serviceable this year?

Would like to see improved 3pt shooting overall.

Kier is our 3-point specialist. He shot 45.8% from 3 last year. Unfortunately he’s probably suspended for a couple games
