1) ignoring sexual assault allegations against its student athletes;
2) Paying a player $180,000 from funds that were supposed to have gone to a children’s hospital;
3) because it’s basketball coach is a big cheater? Or
4) all of the above

And for a player that no one even remembers. At least Auburn got a good return on its investment!

Combo of 2 and 3. After Penn State successfully defended its unconscionable failures regarding Sandusky I don't see the NCAA trying to take another stand against indecency under the guise of regulating collegiate athletics. They didn't do anything to Baylor after all, and it appears that nothing will be done to Michigan State.

I would love to see a complete and total overhaul in our compliance dept. Apparently all they do is worry about suspending players for weed and things like sleepovers but aren’t competent enough to handle actual issues.
Thankfully Alleva is gone.

If the above is true, then I am in favor of the death penalty

They will most likely penalize Ole Miss for LSU's actions here.

1) jury is still out on whether these allegations are true or not
2) LSU already self-assessed penalties against Itself for this
3) LSU is fighting tooth and nail against this
So....we’ll see?

On a similar note, also remember the NCAA didn't do anything to North Carolina for their "academic" issues with the courses where players had their work done/didn't attend.

No.
But UL, ULM or LA Tech better get ready. NCAA fixing to make an example out of one of them in response to the LSU stuff. Show everyone they don't play around with rouge athletic departments.
