After the game I noticed their o-linemen seeking out and hugging Sam like he was family.I guess he must have recruited them.

He must have done a heck of a job bonding with these kids in a short period of time.

I like this.Bring the big guys in!

You could read the lips of the last guy they showed him talking to. He very clearly said "Miss you."

I believe Trey Smith was seriously considering Arkansas while Sam was still here, but ended up signing with Tennessee in 2017. He was rated the #5 player overall in his class and the #3 OT.

Updating to add that I just rewatched the end and Trey Smith was one of the Tennessee players he spoke with. Smith chased Pittman down and tapped on his shoulder.

Cade Mays. His brother is at Tenner with him. They were the first two to come hug Pittman. If Pruitt gets fired I wonder if they would bail.

Their dad is the one that lost the finger on the recruiting trip to Georgia. Pitt grabbed the finger and put it on ice. I guess that helps build a relationship
