Honestly, I never knew who the man was before he arrived as head coach at Sasnakra. I'm not sure how everyone on the board knows he is the best and most nice and gentlest and kindest and best man to ever coach a team and just a really, really good person.

How does everyone know this? It's the oddest phenomenon I've ever seen regarding a football coach. 99% of the board seem to actually believe this guy is a saint, a real saint that has been purified in righteousness and is without sin.

Was he really well known before he became the Arkansas head coach or all these opinions being based on a few YouTube videos of his press conferences? Seriously, someone fill me in. I want to know how such a large amount of posters know him so intimately as to be able to make such high pronouncements about his core, his very being, when they likely have never met the man and probably just recently found out he even existed.

My comments were aimed at your fixation on his weight. Seems you have a problem with big people, must be from something bad in your past.

I doubt he’s quite saintly but he seems like a really good fella to me. I mean I’m no saint but I personally think I’m pretty kick arse too.

He also didn’t come in blowing hard and saying things like he’s gonna hire the best dc in the land and boom chockalaka freaking Chavis is the hire- and that was Chad not even Bert who was a total blowhard.

Excuse us for being pleased after years of shite coaches, at least this one has us fighting and gives a flip. None of us expect him to be the next Saban and I believe he’s stated he only wants to coach 5-7 years more. So him bringing us back into relevancy and leaving us in a good position for the future is perfect with me.

Another thing, he may be portly but he’s still cute (one of those unicorns- we all know a few), dammit.

And finally, this is the honeymoon year- we had zero expectations really. I’ve no doubt that there will be times when we think ‘oh Sam no bad Idea’ but I’m gonna enjoy the ever loving hell out of this season because we effing deserve it.

So, stick that in your ugly pipe that goes into your ugly mouth and smoke it, you backwards bitch of a human.

Have a nice day.

They don't.

What they do know is

A. that he has won a damned SEC football game in Fayetteville for the first time in four years

B. He's a career coach with nothing but a solid reputation at every job he's had, even if none of them were Coordinator/HC positions, and

C. He was so thankful for the job opportunity that he openly cried at his introduction, something that normally isn't a good look for a grown man taking over a leadership position among alpha dogs, but instead was received as a genuine act of happiness and gratitude.

Good grief, man
