UGA needs better QB play to beat Bama.

No shite. No team in america would start their 4th stringer and beat bama

Would the game have been closer or even a win for UGA if Newman did not opt out?

I won't ever predict a win over then until it actually happens again but itd have to have been closer. Bennett did alright in tbe first half but even still missed guys running wide open. It was just as bad in tbe second half but he started pressing and made ridiculous turnovers. I have to think our preseason starter would've given us a chance to put us in tbe 30s

I agree with that, but OSU did beat bama in the CFP with their 3rd stringer a few years ago. IJS.

The player acquisition and retention needs to be better. Had 2 transfers come in, one is hurt, one opted out, and the former 5 star is now quarterbacking the Buckeyes.

What in the world makes you think Daniels or Mathis is a 1st stringer? God knows who the other QB you might be referring to is. This game was over regardless of who you started at QB.

Why is Georgia playing its fourth stringer instead of its first? Or second? Or third? Sounds dumb.
