UGA defense is fine. It's the offense that had clearly established the run with a strong rotation of backs, yet inexplicably chose to abandon it in the 3rd quarter in favor of putting the ball in the hands of a walk-on QB. Had they run the ball and eaten some clock in the 2nd half, they would have given the defense some rest, Bama would have been pressing which plays right into the defense's hands, and they probably would've won the game.

Mac Jones had over 400 yards passing. Najee Harris ran for over 150 yards. Bama had 33 first downs to the dawgs 20. Bama has the ball for 34 minutes of TOP to Georgia's 26. Bama got what they wanted all night.

I think you missed a good game barner.

Alabama did what they wanted to do, and they chose to run a horse in the 4th and eat up the damn clock, there was nothing the UGA could do to stop it. Coach went old school offense in the 4th and damn if it didn’t look good.
