Matt Corral looked like an NFL qb vs bama and a complete idiot vs Arkansas.
There are bumps in the road. Be best to just enjoy football this season and see how it goes.

Looks like fan fiction to me.

Griffith is not a journalist. I can tell you definitively that what he is claiming is false. Newman won the QB competition. It wasn’t close.
It was and has been well known that JT wasn’t healthy. I’d but it slightly worse than 50/50 that he doesn’t play a down until next season.

SI Dawg Daily affiliate also said that JT Daniels clearly won the competition but he isn't 100% yet.
So Mike isn't the only one saying it.

Neither of those sources are better than uga sports. Not even close.

Just said that people who are paid to cover the Dawgs and have sources inside the program are saying it.
But, while we're here what exactly is "UGA Sports" and where did it announce who won the starting job?
You're speculating like the rest of them.

Still thinking about the Arkansas game where ESPN was implying that Daniels would be the starter. Did they know something we didn't? Or was it just laziness and wild speculation (probably)?

I think he quit because an agent paid him.

Trust the real uga pros on uga sports.com over those worthless sources you covet. At least their idea makes sense.

He was on the travel squad and dressed vs Arky.Maybe Kirby did it as gamesmanship but its still somewhat strange considering we can only take 70 players.

Well click through the link now, they've changed the verbiage on that comment...
It's now "JT was winning..."
A lot different that JT won.

Scrimmaging in a no-contact jersey can't possibly lead to "winning the competition" at the P5 level of football.

Which is the most idiotic thing he could have done. Last night, I was looking through some updated mocks and draft projections and after Lawrence, Fields, and Lance, they arent talking about Newman as the next QB anymore. Its Kyle Trask or Mac Jones or Brock Purdy or the kid from BYU. Kid is basically an afterthought not playing.
