I wouldn't touch Fields w/a 10 ft.pole when it comes to being a pro QB.

If you’re the Falcons and you’re in earshot of Trevor Lawrence, you do what you have to do to move up and don’t apologize for it.

Lawrence or trade back for more picks.

This. Fields isn’t such a HR QB of the future type to trade picks for, though, I think he’ll be good. Matt Ryan with a creative OC has 4 good/great years left.

There’s a TON of problems with this team, and I can assure you, Ryan is at the bottom of the list.

That said, if you somehow beat out Jets/Giants for #1... you’ve got to take Lawrence. Got to.

I’d draft Lawrence but not touching Fields. Sadly I think we sneak in a win or 2 and go to about 6th in the draft.

It’s what we do, we can’t even lose correctly!

Have to be lawrence...more of a NFL type qb than fields. I also wouldn't mind us making trades to get some seasoned veterans in

I'm not just not convinced with Lawrence, but what do I know.

I must ask, why?

He’s checking every single box, possible.

He’s mentioned in the same “can’t-miss” rare air as: Elway, Manning, and Luck.

Always interested to hear dissent, but from everything I’ve seen since the moment he stepped on the field at Clemson... my gosh. What a talent.

Absolutely. I'd look at Lance as well.

I agree with this, but he also isn't playing up to his outrageous contract. Would you rather have four more years of this version of Ryan at $40M+/year or Fields on a rookie deal for the next 5 years?

It's an easy answer for me.

Considering Ryan’s cap hit regardless... I mean, Lawrence - and only Lawrence.

yep and if we cant get TL, I would say trade back. We are clearly more than 1 player away, so we need more picks

This. I was a doubter of his out of HS to a small degree, but since getting to Clemson, all he's done is look more and more impressive.

You guys are crazy. Lawrence is the better prospect because of his arm (probably top 4 in the NFL day 1), but Fields is can't miss - more escape ablilty inside and outside the pocket with elite arm strength (though worse than Lawrence) and accuracy.

You take either - period, but make sure to hire the right HC.

Eric Bieniemy would be the #1 choice, and bring over that KC QB coach as OC.

What? Why not? He's probably the best candidate out there.

Byron Leftwich will be in the HC conversation as well as Bieniemy. I think it’ll be one of them with GM being rumored Louis Riddick.
