I'm not even going to argue this point with you, because it's so ridiculous. DiNardo had a much tougher job when he became Vandy's head coach, and he did quite well ( LINK):

It wasn't a shot at GD, more a defense of BJ. They have been close to bowl eligble plus they are way more competitive in a tougher SEC now than then (no 65-0 losses under BJ) plus they've beaten UT, SC, GA while playing everyone tough. Better recruiter too- just saying
