I just dont see how you have any confidence in the front office signing Ozuna. Guy is going to command 100M dollars this off season.
The DH is already confirmed for 21, so it is almost certainty it is here to stay.
Just like Donaldson last year, lip service to the fans, but no legitimate offer. AA will shop the bargain bin of 1 year players again.

It'll be a shame not locking Ozuna up. His confidence/personality/swagger is a natural fit with the Braves.

I realize Liberty Media is unlikely to spend big in most situations. But now is the time to push all the chips in. All the pieces are there for a multi year run. I have a feeling this run may finally convince them to spend.
I don’t think a comparison of Donaldson and Ozuna is apt here. It probably was wise to not match the Twins offer. A 4 year deal on a 34 year old with injury history was a gamble. Ozuna looks like he could stay in his prime through the bulk of a long term deal.
