Pats just brought him off the bench to come back and beat the defending champs.

This is what he trained for the year that he didn't play and practiced at that HS in Texas.

Sacks, INTs, happy feet be damned... Stidham is about to do the damn thing!

We had a team with an NFL QB and NFL RB and a good defense and managed to lose four games

So you're saying Gus has as many QBs play in the NFL this year as any other coach in college? Even the QB whisperer Lincoln Riley.

Not any opinion just facts.

Y’all need to give up on Stidham. Dude is not going to be good.

Dude literally IS an NFL QB just by the fact he got on the field in an NFL game and threw passes

There's a shitload of average college qbs that can never say that including (your boy) Nick Marshall.

He hasn't actually been that bad tonight. He had two throws right on the money that were dropped. Had a great goal line fade for a TD. He did have a pick on a deep throw, but overall for his first real action he's been fine.

He hasn't been great but he has done okay given the circumstances

Had another drop as i type this

Yea he certainly wasn't perfect but he was honestly pretty decent for the circumstances. He's 8/13 with 1 TD 1 Pick without drops. Getting your first real action against one of the best pass defenses in the league, that's honestly not terrible.

Kind of a dumb argument baw. Nobody said Marshall would be a NFL QB.

And in reality, where what actually happens matters, he was 5/13 with 2INTs and a TD

Patriot receivers didn’t invent drops. All QBs live with it and it appears in everyone’s stat lines. He didn’t look completely incompetent but it wasn’t a great debut either. He’s got time.

Sure, but at the same time you cant look at stats without context.

And tbh I don't think most QB's deal with drops on nearly 25% of their passes. idk could be wrong

Stidham has been intercepted like 18% of his attempts.

mOsT QbS dOnT DeAl WiTh ThAt. IdK cOuLd Be WrOnG

Small sample sizes either way. Just pointing out that nobody should call that performance positive. Though the TD toss to Harry was sharp and he probably moved the offense better than Hoyer. And regardless, he deserves better than the situations he’s been put into

You go to the bar, buy the girl drinks, and don’t get a number. But it “wasn’t that bad” because she talked to you some, was really hot, and you didn’t have a chance anyway

Maybe I’m too outcome oriented but that seems like a failure

Typical Stidham.

Looked super sharp at times.

Got his team back in the game.

Throws terrible pick to lose game and looks as if he could care less..
