Large home crowd at UGA - Boogs game

I watched the Bama game and then the UGA game and it sure looked like there was a shitload more fans in the stadium at UGA. IDGAF about the social distancing req outside but anyone know the deal?

take a look at the aerial from the start of the game, then at the end. it looks like people just came down from the upper decks and nobody stopped them. but it did look like about 50K

Yes, the appearance definitely triggered a few safety at all cost weirdos out there. It sure looked and sounded like it was more than 1/4 full. Might be evil Kirby in action.

There's no deal to know. There were about 20K tickets sold (max capacity right now) and not all were used. There were probably around 17k people there.
The only reason people are freaking out is because 1)that's more than most games this year that barely have a few thousand people 2)our fans actually cheered and got "loud" on defense which I haven't seen any other stadium do yet.
Its really not very complicated
