It's not only his on field exploits but his dedication and leadership skills that are exemplary...Kid could have opted out this year and been a top 5 pick but told his coach that never entered his mind. But he stayed and collected over 300,200 "we want to play petitions". He WAS VERY VOCAL IN PROTESTS AGAINST THE BIG10 and is one of the reasons the big 10 "REVISITED' their decision to play. Hats off to the kid even though we all know that he came back to win a natty and if they don't this year it will be considered a bust year.

Imagine if Georgia didn’t have such a racist culture and they still had Fields. They would be the team to beat imho.

He is leagues better than any quarterback currently at Georgia. That is certain. Seems that Day may be just a bit better at QB development than the Georgia staff and that archaic offense they ran (run?).

Quit making up stories....Georgia is no more racist than any school. OSU turned out to be perfect for him with the offensive they ru. It doesn't hurt that they say this might be there most talented team ever.

You're missing the point.
Those were his words because that is how the team chose to waste his talent. He wasn't trusted or valued or had anything built for his elite skillset.
Add in the racist baseball player comments and other clashes in the culture of the football program and he rightfully chose to go where he was wanted, appreciated and utilized.
UGA blew it with him and may be wasting away their best period of collective roster talent ever for runner up trophies either nationally or in the SEC.
It feels like Kirby is a better recruiter still producing Richt results

Cool. He still was only allowed to "hand the ball off good as frick."
Bowl Cut mismanaged him and the team. At least 1 national title lost due to inept roster management and game day coaching.
Saban has been guilty of the same a couple of times, so maybe it will balance out for you in the end... unfortunately it looks like the East being UGA and the sisters of the poor is coming to an end.
