That his buddy in the program said that JT got cleared today. Bout the crux of it but I skimmed through the thread.

Finally watched his USC highlights and he has plenty of arm. Seems to throw a lot of jump balls. Can we get Pittman too?

I did like how he handled himself under pressure. He didn’t have much time in the clips I saw.

I haven't watched his tape in a while. I think the kid has a shitload of talent, obviously, but he made some inadvisable throws. But I mean hes a Freshman. From what I read on reddit, USC fans were bullish on him and excited to see what Graham Harrell would get out of him. He started fine before he got hurt his soph year.

Honestly, him losing to Slovis reminds me a lot of Fromm taking the gig from Eason. Slovis made it work and launched bombs to their god tier WR corp. So, maybe double edged sword. JT had a ton of WR talent so that may have masked some but end of the day the rest of his team was rough. Its tough being thrown in as a true freshman in a team in the state that USC is/was under Helton.

I don't think JT is going to be a world beater for us and I bet he makes some painful choices. But that dude is too talented to not play if he's ready. I just hope Monken can work his magic (not like the shite we just saw). Dude made Nick Mullens a stud and Weeden a 1st round pick. I really think if Monken is what we think he can make JT be what we need. Just may not be the LSU god-tier offense we want or need. But we don't need that. We just HAVE to frickin put some pressure somewhere outside of our defense

Taking this at face value, what was yesterday? One day, weekend day at that, doesn't turn you from hurt to healthy. Were they buying a week by saying he wasn't ready yesterday? Did Kirby just want to see what he's got in Dewan?

Makes no sense for him to be considered inactive yesterday but 100% go a day later.

Inactive?

He hasn't been cleared for contact and it's not like he hasn't been getting reps in practice.

Not difficult at all to be cleared for contact from one day to the next.
