Were we intentionally bland yesterday in preparation of Georgia or are we just working out the kinks?

I feel like there is some gamesmanship going on and Gus kept it vanilla.

I hope so, because the offense didn’t look any better than last year. Only bright spot was Nix showed better accuracy.

No and dont get yourself all excited that we were. That is the offense we have right now. There was very little time for Chad to work on the new offense.

Coaches dont hold back these days in games they are fighting to win.

We dont have a ton of variation right now due to the lack of time and new pieces.

Hopefully, we can get a running game next week but UGA is stout up front. Will probably have to lean on the passing game again

Yes the Offense struggled early and also struggle to produce yards on the ground throughout the game. I do believe it was a pretty basic gameplan.

I expect to see more TE usage and RB passes next week. With that being said...our passing game looked much better yesterday. I saw several good route combos. I saw intermediate routes, crossing patterns, etc. So I think that was a the basic Chad Offense. I think we started rolling in the second half. The stats do not show a lot but we didn't have a ton of possessions.

Bo was i think 16-27? Well he was 1-4 to start the game, he had a drop on a screen to flash, and most of the rest were throw aways. He looked much better and way more accurate.

First game. New O. Very little time to install the O. I think it will evolve week to week.
