So again, why did Kirby BLOCK his transfer?

Is this that hard to understand? You cannot set a precedent by allowing in-conference free agency. Otis and Cade could have gone to any number of schools and received no opposition. But, they transferred in conference (Cade, in division).

Let's see what you say when an LSU player transfers to Auburn or Bama.

Phelon Jones-LSU CB (2009) was granted his release by Coach Les Miles to transfer to ALABAMA. Phelon started 2 games but played extensively doing the season before. Phelon was granted his release to transfer to AUBURN first, but Auburn coaches told him they had no scholarships available, that's when he went back to Coach Miles to grant a release so he can play for BAMA.

Cade received his granted transfer waiver from the NCAA this week and is just waiting for final word from the SEC. So if this was an in-division transfer, why did that get approved by the NCAA but Reese's hasn't? My big issue is the NCAA remaining silent on his waiver for 9 months. Regardless of approval or denial, they need to address it.
