Finebaum is a narrative guy, not an analysis guy. Nobody expects educated analysis from Finebaum , just broad stroke stuff . And that’s for EVERY team. He’s a “ current wisdom “ guy, not a guy with insight on a roster or a scheme or whatever.

Finebaum has a host of experts keeping him abreast of the pulse of everything SEC and college football particularly.
He's extremely smart and has been involved with college athletics for the majority of his professional life.
Fact is he's more right than wrong and very often hits the nail on the head!
However, his show's platform has been based on his bizarre callers and how he stirs the pot. A shock jock to be sure!.
But, don't underestimate Finebaum's abilities in keeping the public glued to his program with a platform of intellectual people on various athletic topics to the bizarre in callers that sometimes flip their lid!

There are many unknowns this year. LSU & MSU are unknowns. Even if MSU wins I wouldn't call that an upset because of all that LSU lost.
