Anyone else see the promo video Ole Miss Football just pushed out on Facebook? Looks like we're going with powder blue helmets AND powder blue tops.
Have we ever worn powder blue tops in football before? I personally think these are going to look pretty sick.

I remember gawking over the powder blue polo that the analyst was wearing on the sidelines against Alabama during Freeze’s second year. We all wanted one.

I'll reserve full judgement till I see em on the field but maybe it's just because I've become too old school but I really don't like em.

Not bad. Definitely better than the gray ones we wore a few times under Nutt. I hope those never make a reappearance.

Powder blue helmets and red jersey is my drug of choice. shite gets me so pumped!

The new jerseys are fine if we want to be North Carolina.
I don't mind the powder blue helmets as a nod to Vaught and to Chucky (actually love the look with our red jerseys and grey pants). But, our school colors are navy blue and cardinal red. Just my opinion, though.

Agreed. I do not want us to ever veer too far from our base colors which are as good as it gets. Don’t mess with it too much.

As long as the jersey closely matches our normal powder blue helmets, I think I'll love them. If they are this weird teal thing or Carolina blue that Ole Miss keeps licensing, my head is going to explode. One of my biggest pet peeves is the execution of powder blue...We need to pick a powder blue and stick with it (helmet version). Switching it up in different sports is Busch League.
Edit: Just scrolled across olemissfb on instagram. The color looks a lot better than the teaser video last night. Weird filter.

You're right. When i saw the teaser vid i thought they looked too tealish.
But that second link you posted looks freaking legit.
As someone else stated we need to standardize the Powder Blue Color. The helmet color is perfect. Everything else needs to match.
Not gonna lie my first thought was "white helmet" with the powder blue jersey. But the more i think about it that would be WAY too much like UNC.
I am also curious as too what pants we will wear with it. I dont think the Grey pants with Navy/Red stripe will look right. too dark toned to go with powder blue lid/jersey. Feel like it has to be white pants....
And what a damn shame this new look for the first time is being wasted on a 20% crowd 11AM game

Yeah that second link makes them look a lot better than that original video they posted. Also I wish they would have changed the SEC patch to have a powder blue background instead of the Navy blue background.

Too gimicky. We have a great traditional uniform. Some minor tweaks like the powder blue helmets are ok since its got a historical tie in but these are too much.

Bruh, to each their own, but personally thought those were hideous. Didn’t we have a losing record in them? Feel like we lost every time we wore those.
