Florida 1993-96
Auburn 1988-89
Georgia 1980-82

Guess what LSU fans you won’t win this year

But seriously. There are teams with more talent than LSU this year and winning the sec would be somewhat of a long shot.

That’s fine! I’ll take the Natty, 15-0 season, and greatest college football team of all time to not win the SEC back to back in an asterisk year. What has UT done in the past 20 years?

Bet you didn't think we would win the SEC last year either and probably didn't think we would win 10 games in 2018.

2007 was the last time Tennessee went to the Championship Game and 1998 was their last win. Go talk shite to Vanderbilt or Missouri

Last any SEC team won back to back national titles...
Only Alabama has won back to back titles, 2011-12
(did it in 78-79, 64-65, and 25-26 too)

Really is incredible. Uga went from 82-02 without an sec title and that felt like a lifetime. Tennessee has already eclipsed that and shows no threat of ending it any time soon

Alabama won three in a row recently: 2014, 2015, and 2016. (2017 national champs over UGA, so really four in a row.) Then 2018 SEC champs. So, wait..... really five in a row.

Well at least LSU won last year which is a hell of a lot more than Tennessee can ever say when was the last time they won one
End of the day Tennessee is still NOT relevant

Ironically the old timers tell me that LSU got robbed out of a repeat at Knoxville in 1959. Billy Cannon broke the plane but was ruled short

No sir. You guys won that fair and square. We are, however, the co-National Champs due to whipping bammers arse in the Iron Bowl.
