We’re the defending champs. 9 wins is a guarantee for a defending champ

I had 8-2 or 9-1 before Chase opted out. I have 7-3 now.

Losses to Florida, Auburn, Bama, and Texas A&M. Maybe South Carolina or Ole Miss, too.

We're playing a ten game schedule with no G5/FCS rent-a-wins. So that's like three for sure wins that they don't get to count right there.

LSU has had an inordinate number of players decide to forego the season. I think a lot more players from other teams will have changed their mind by the 26th. So there's time for the LSU players to change their mind, or for the attrition to catch up to other teams. But as of right now, I'd say it's fair to assume Alabama, @Florida, and @Auburn are probably losses, with @A&M being a toss up. LSU has their number, so I'm going to go with the status quo and say LSU wins that one.

I don't think they win fewer than six under basically any circumstance. They've still got a shite load more talent than the other teams on the schedule, it's all just raw and unproven. Eight seems like a bit much for as many difficult road games as they have, but 15 games last year also seemed like a bit much.

I do. LSU will be fine. They may struggle early but as the season goes on, they should be a very strong team. They have talent. Familiarity may be an issue early but they will be tough.
