This type of situation is why what Gatewood did was dumb.
If these rumors are true, he could be the QB for Auburn. Instead, he is sitting the bench at Kentucky.

Alternatively, if it isn't true and he had stayed, he could be sitting on the bench until graduation at Auburn.

And he didn't come to ride the bench at AU. I don't blame a kid for wanting to go out playing. He did everything Gus asked of him while here and now simply moved on to greener pastures. I wish him luck against all the rest.
