If CBS has already used their Prime Time slot with UGA-Bama they will not own the rights. CBS would have to lease the rights FROM ABC/ESPN. I don't think they would be willing to pay what ABC would ask. I expect the game to be 'ESPN Saturday Night Football on ABC presented by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's'.

I could see something being worked out that CBS gets to move their 2:30 game to the primetime slot that week in exchange for ESPN getting first pick another week excluding maybe 1 or 2 games, much like what happened in 2011.
Give ESPN the first pick of Week 2, giving them Auburn/UGA, leaving CBS Texas A&M/Alabama. I think both parties would be amenable to something like that.

Will the Masters get as many viewers as an LSU-Alabama matchup, which is one of the most watched football games every season? I’m not sure of golf viewership but I do usually watch the Masters, so if there’s a lot of people like me I could understand if it WAS higher.

Believe it or not, probably not on a given day. It's a 4 day event though so yes, it will outpace viewership by at least 4x
Bama/LSU is also only drawing mega TV numbers if it's a top 5 matchup
