There are about 8 years worth of threads on players getting too big and slow for their positions and/or a lack of injury prevention.

Cochran was truly a good guy and valued asset to the program, but more so from a resiliency standpoint. He kept players heads in the game and staying at Bama. But, his strength program focused on building monsters... no matter how slow those monsters became.

The new guys maximize human potential in relation to desired skillsets and positions. It is a whole new ball game. Very excited to see it materialize

Injuries is an issue everywhere. When you get too big, the chances of injuries increase. But Bama used that size to a big advantage during the SC years. They faced problems when they played a HUNH teams, but there were very few of those during that time. Again, S&C wasn't the an issue, the games they lost were from the sidelines.

We've played tons of HUNH teams the last 4-5 years.
