Spring football will never happen

If this is really about "the health of the players" why would you have them play months of a violent impact sport, twice in the same year with only a couple months rest between seasons before you start training camp again?

How many players died or were hospitalized in the last two years that went straight from their senior year in college to play in the AAF in 2018 and XFL in 2019 with only a month break at most?

I've yet to find one example.

If it’s no big deal then why haven’t we been playing football in the spring and fall for 50 years? I guarantee the money is out there.

Exactly how many games did each team play in the AAF or the XFL?
