Yeah, 30 years isn't that long ago. And that's for Miami; USC was more along the lines of 15 yrs ago.

And to bring that home on the concept of "Blue Bloods", 30 yrs is a drop in the bucket for a program of that stature. Oklahoma was a contender 30 yrs ago, they were a contender 50, 60 years ago, and longer.

LSU isn't a blue blood. We were ranked (except the 90's) for a lot of years, but we weren't contenders, not until the early 2000's.
