They do, if those teams are still winning 8-9 games every year, and in position to make a run.

Notre Dame has been in the playoffs as much as Georgia, and has played for more national titles recently.

Clemson never makes that list if they didn't win very recently.

If Texas and USC get things straightened out, they're back in the mix tomorrow. Wasn't long ago that USC and Miami had more talent then a lot of CONFERENCES.

This is from last year, I think.

Since then LSU has moved up in natties and heisman.
