I think Muschamp has another 2 years here
So he’ll be on campus with Will his first season

Might be for the best. Stronger roster and they're will be some proven big program coaches available by then instead of just lower level guys to choose from. I don't see Tom Herman at UT or Frost at Nebraska much longer. I'm not saying thats who we hire. I'm just saying the pool will be deeper an hopefully we have a qualified AD by then.

I do
They’ll still be employed by their current employers when we are looking for a new coach

Does anyone see South Carolina as a destination job for any other reason than us being in the SEC? There is no upside here, except for the fact you'll have a guaranteed job for 4-5 seasons. We can't be expected to compete with Clemson and Georgia right away and even in our best years we won jack shite. How do we shake our reputation as a place where coaches go to die/retire?

Invest in one of these and use it in an extremely prolific manner.

If you're a real sales personality you do. I can sell The University of South Carolina to any coach in college in less than 10 minutes. We could have had Leach, Kiffen or any one else we wanted if we had the right person shaping and highlighting the narrative.
2.5 hours to the mountains (lifestyle and family)
1.45 to Charleston (lifestyle, family and recruiting)
3 hours from ATL (recruiting)
2 hours from CLT (recruiting)
2.5 hours from Triangle
SEC Money and Facilities
Lake Mansion (lifestyle and recruiting)
Condon in CHS or Ocean Front House in IOP/Folly or Kiawah
Any coach in the SEC would prefer to build steam in the East (UGA/Fla) vs the West (Bama/LSU/now Miss State and Ole Miss both will build)
A level of loyalty and patience from a fanbase that is unparalleled in NCAA football. Most coaches are coaching for their jobs today in years 2/3/. Which may actually be our biggest drawback. We don't complain and still show up when we suck and suck and suck. Therefor the football money machine keeps producing.

If I were you guys, I would go for Jim McElwain, all shenanigans aside, that guy will want to beat Florida more than anyone on your list. He's also killing it right now.
